Who am I?
My name is Helen and I’m a Liverpool based wedding and event planner and proud owner of Opulence Weddings and Events.
I am passionate about bringing your dreams and visions to life but most of all I love introducing some enjoyment and fun to my clients. It’s not all about following trends, it’s about adding your personality and creating a unique experience that you and your guests will always remember. Nothing is out of reach with Opulence, our job is to provide ideas and solutions to enable you to have exactly what you require and to meet your budget. Being an independent business I try to ensure we only use locally sourced suppliers. Always remember unique, passionate and trusted suppliers are the foundation to your wedding.

My Experience
I have designed and co-ordinated weddings for several years including Indian and Turkish weddings were adding a cultural spin to the day enriched both occasions. One of my favourite destination weddings was in Santorini were I organised a wedding at a venue in the mountains with breath-taking views and beautiful evening sunset.

In addition to wedding planning, I have gained a wealth of experience organising at a variety of events including corporate, festivals, private occasions, charitable and sporting events in some of the most prestigious venues across the North West including the stunning Sefton Park Palm House, Liverpool Town Hall and St George’s Hall.

One of my favourite events was the Liverpool Giants Spectacular. Working alongside French puppeteer company Royal De Luxe, I enjoyed the challenge of creating a World War 2 themed dinner experience for VIP guests at St Georges Hall. Continuing this theme creating breakfast surrounding the Giant Grandmother as she slept in her bed. I was involved in the celebration of the World Corporate Games which is the world’s largest annual corporate multi-sports festival. Other sporting events I have been involved with include the Liverpool Tennis Tournament, Cheshire Polo Luncheon and The Grand National festival.

What do Opulence Wedding and events do?
Opulence is a wedding and event planning company that provides you with peace of mind for your special event. Our aim to provide a bespoke service to suit your specific budget and requirements. Whether you are looking for full event design and management, or an extra pair of hands. We use our professional skills and expertise to design, plan and manage your dream wedding day or event.

Opulence specialises in mobile bar hire, whether it be a house party or a large scale event. Our unique bars can be stocked to your choice of drink. The portable bar can also be hired on its own along with our bar tenders who will wait on your guests all night long, so all you need to do is provide the alcohol and we provide the rest. All bars can be designed to suit your event theme.

Opulence can style your chosen venue for any occasion including birthdays, communions, christening and baby showers. We style your venue to suit your chosen theme and colour with our extensive range of products. Products includes a range of centrepieces, artificial flowers, chair covers, table linen, post box, wishing tree, sweet stand and much more.

When I’m not planning events
I am usually attending one or spending time with my family and friends, who helped and supported me on this amazing journey. I enjoy building great friendships with my clients and sharing their experience. I have a huge passion for my city of Liverpool and also love city breaks and exploring countries especially for potential new venues for my couples! I always wanted to have my own business from a young age, I feel excited for the future of Opulence.
